Regional youth organizations secure grants from the Missouri Department of Agriculture


JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - 21 youth organizations across the Show-Me State have been awarded grants from the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The grants are a part of the MDA's 2020 Building Our American Communities Grant Program.

Communications Director with the MDA Sami Jo Freeman told KXCV/KRNW that there were several organizations in our listening area that were awarded. One of those was the South Harrison FFA in Bethany.

The others were the Mitchelville 4H in New Hampton and the Helena Happy Hustlers 4H in Helena. The Building Our American Communities Program has been supporting youth projects in the state since the 1970's.
